Pegge Forrest, in association with Jay Irwin. and Deborah Swanson. are the Creative Team assisted in Graphic Design for their clients by Ron Slanina Collectively they are members of the Public Relations Society of America, the New York Drama League, America Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Public Communicators of Los Angeles. Ms. Forrest is the recipient of the coveted PRO Award presented annually by the Public Communicators of Los Angeles. Ms. Swanson former President of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, member of the Independent Writers of Southern California and past member of the American Theater Critics Association.

Jay Irwin
Jay Irwin has been on the Forrest and Associates Creative Team since 2000.

A native of Green Bay/Milwaukee Jay spent a great deal of his youth in a broadcast booth, working with his father, Jim Irwin, a 10-time winner of "Wisconsin Sportscaster of the Year." While his father did play-by-play, Jay spotted, scored, and assistant produced for Green Bay Packer, Wisconsin Badger football and basketball, and Milwaukee Bucks broadcasts. A lifelong music lover, Jay performed in the Wisconsin Honors Choirs and Symphonic Bands before switching his focus to the prestigious School of Speech at Northwestern University. While there Jay performed in 13 productions including the annual Waa-Mu show, for which he won both the Sarah Siddons Scholarship and Joe Miller Award for "outstanding contribution to the original musical revue.
Jay has worked with top Chicago theatres including the Marriott Lincolnshire, Candlelight Forum Theatre, Northlight Theatre, and Steppenwolf Theatre where he performed with Albert Finney in the inaugural production of their new building.

In Los Angeles Jay coordinated art storage and installations with local fine art institutions including The Getty Museum, LACMA, MOCA, Armand Hammer Foundation, and the Robert Rifkind Foundation before becoming the Executive Director of the Judith Kaufman Gallery at the historic El Portal Theatre in the Noho Arts District.

In the theatre he has produced performances by Bea Arthur, Jason Robert Brown, and the musical, Always, Patsy Cline, starring Sally Struthers. As co manager he regularly coordinates El Portal Theatre receptions with event planners and vendors including stage presentation, audio-visual production, and catered affairs.

Ron Slanina
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, Ron has been designing for PF&A since 2002.

The son of a commercial artist in Pittsburgh, PA, you might say he was born into the field. And when personal computers began to appear in homes, Ron immediately became curious and obsessed with digital imagery. Armed with this early knowledge of computer technology and his inate graphic design skills, he created the opportunity to consult with major design firms guiding them through the transition from conventional art to computer pre-press. Which gave him the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best designers in the business.

In Los Angeles Ron runs a full service graphic design studio in Van Nuys, producing print media that ranges from Corporate Annual Reports to Direct Mail as well as Websites for a variety of clients. Through Ron's association with PF&A his firm has a large focus on "single image" for theatrical presentaion. That is, "one strong image to grab the audience's attention and peak their interest," to put it simply, "a picture's worth a thousand words."
